Daniel Elias carrero

teaching artist

Daniel teaches storytelling and empowers his students to become experts with language and problem solving as the creative writing track teaching artist. This role comes after his transition from being the social enterprise fellow in the summer of 2023 and a collaborating artist. Prior to that, he worked as a program coordinator for the Lawrence Youth Council at ET after being a participant in the program during the 2027-2018 school year. A first generation Dominican raised in the Bronx and Ohio before moving to Lawrence, Daniel studied creative writing, public and community service studies, and philosophy at Providence College. In addition to being ET’s Creative Writing Teaching Artis, Daniel also supports the media department by coordinating ET’s podcast projects and social media planning and strategy.
