MAKAYLA DEOLIVEIRA
Mak is an artist, creative, and photographer based in Lawrence, MA. She works as a Photography Teaching Artist at Elevated Thought. Her work begins with a quiet attention to the world around her, moments noticed, held, and remembered. Starting with film photography, she learned to move slowly, to wait, and to trust what she creates.
Through portraiture, editorials, and street photography, Mak uses her camera as a way of listening. She photographs what lingers, expressions, spaces, and details that might otherwise pass unnoticed. Whether working on personal projects or collaborating with model agencies, brands, and individual clients, her approach remains rooted in care and presence.
