Nicole Garcia is a multidisciplinary artist and educator teaching visual arts at Elevated Thought. Nicole has been involved with Elevated Thought in various capacities, including supporting organizational projects as a former collaborating artist and participating in programming as a high school student. As a first generation Dominican, born and raised in Lawrence,Ma she works towards strengthening her community through art that celebrates culture, layering identities, and the magic of self.

 

Nicole earned her bachelor's degree in Architecture Design from Massachusetts College of Art and Design in 2021. Since graduating, she has been teaching various forms of design as well as entrepreneurial skills for artists within the Merrimack Valley community with the goal of inspiring youth to use art making not only as an outlet for creativity but to make change.
