In addition to being one of our Youth Leaders and a Lawrence Youth Council member, Mekhi Mendoza is now our 2017 Scholarship recipient. Mekhi has become an ET fixture over the past three years; excelling and improving artistically while also stepping out of his comfort zone and being a integral part of our arts activism through the Lawrence Youth Council and 'What is Education?' Campaign. Mekhi has been accepted to MassArt and will be attend following a year at Northern Essex Community College.
