Through the Nellie Mae Education Foundation and our continued support from CYCLE (Center for Youth Community Leadership in Education), Elevated Thought and Lawrence Youth Council (LYC) members were able to visit Youth on Board (Boston, MA) in Somerville on October 13. Our crew joined youth and adult allies from Portland Empowered (Portland, ME), Providence Student Union (Providence, RI), and Young Voices (Providence, RI) for the kickoff of the student rights learning community.
