This past month, we joined I Have A Future for their 13th Annual Youth Justice Rally to mobilize youth to fight the systemic inequities revealed by COVID-19. We created protest art to help bring more awareness of how much economic inequity, racialized policing, or the housing crisis impacts our lives and the specific demands and legislation they drafted with youth all over Massachusetts. Employment, criminalization, housing, and education affect us all just as much as the pandemic. We deserve better than what we had before, so we came together—at the statehouse and online—to fight for a better future.
