Last week, Rania and Celeste were able to show Emma Platoff and John Tlumacki of the Boston Globe around downtown Lawrence and talk about the importance of redistricting. The work we’ve been doing through the Drawing Democracy Fund has given us the opportunity to learn more about the political misunderstandings and barriers in our community as well as the desire of our neighbors to deepen their knowledge of and exert their political rights.
