Three boxes down, two to go in this first stage of our city wide beautification project for Lawrence. Elevated Thought artists David Christopher, Sammy Johnson, and Jared Goulette have produced potent artwork on beat up, tagged up boxes on Essex St. The reaction from the community thus far has been incredible. Young folks, older folks, professionals, bus drivers, people from all different backgrounds have come up to the crew and praised the effort to beautify the city. The phrase 'Real hope' has been used many times already by members of the community and that's why we do what we do.
