'image of i' was part of a C3 program focused on the nature of identity and Lena Coakley's short story, 'Mirror Image'. Running through January, the program included over 150 8th graders from West Middle School in Andover and 5 Elevated Thought artists, the program offered youth the chance to grapple with the idea of self and identity through various art mediums. Discussing issues such as assimilation, the pressure of maintaining a specific status, physical differences and the perceived value of sameness - 10 youth collaborated and led this short, bringing their experiences, conversations and ideas to life through film.
