Sara Morin (She/Her) is the inaugural Development Strategist at Elevated Thought whose love for art and history, and work in museums led her to this role of advocating for arts funding for more creative opportunities for the youth. Born in Guatemala City, her connection to Lawrence stems from her grandparents and great-grandmother living here for many years and Sara spending a lot of time here when she was growing up. Later, she would come back to Lawrence by volunteering at the Lawrence History Center and photographing objects in their collection and then by joining their board of directors. Lawrence brings her joy.
 

Sara earned her bachelors in history with a minor in education from Salem State. Her graduate studies were at Harvard University’s Extension School where her focus was working in museums and going through their Museum Studies Graduate Program.
